  1. Am I eligible for benefits under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA)?

    Generally, the provisions of the SCRA apply to active duty military personnel - members of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard; Public Health Officers detailed to the Army or Navy on active duty; and military reservists and guardsmen called to active duty. SCRA benefits vary. For example, some benefits only apply to servicemembers who enter into a lease or finance obligation prior to being called to active duty. SCRA benefits may also extend to the spouses and dependants of active duty military personnel.

  3. What documentation will I need to provide to Toyota Financial Services to receive SCRA benefits?

    Toyota Financial Services requires that you provide the following information to determine eligibility:

    • Your TFS account number
    • A copy of your military orders notifying you of your activation
    • Information about the current insurance on the vehicle and where the vehicle will be kept
    • The name, address, and phone number for the individual who will be driving or caring for the vehicle during your military service
    • Information and written authorization for a third party to discuss or handle your account on your behalf.

  4. Who can I contact to take advantage of this benefit?

    Active duty personnel and reservists should
    contact us  to inform us about getting called to active duty. We will provide you with a list of the documentation we will need to determine if you qualify for the benefit.

  5. Once my SCRA status is activated with TFS, can I continue to use Autocheque to make payments on my account?

    Autocheque can be used for finance accounts only. Manual payments may be required during the waiting period when the account number and payment is changed.

    Autocheque cannot be used for lease accounts where payments are reduced. You must make payments manually if the account payments are changed.
