Will my recurring payment automatically end at the end of my finance or lease contract?

In most cases, yes. However, we recommend that you cancel any recurring automatic payments. Here are some additional details:

Finance Contracts
Scheduled recurring payments will no longer be debited from your bank account once you have paid off your finance account and the account is closed. However, if your next payment is in “Pending” status when your account is closed or if a recurring payment is scheduled to occur before the payoff has been fully processed, that payment may be processed. We recommend that you cancel your recurring payments if you pay off your account and have a recurring payment that is scheduled to be processed soon after your payoff. If the recurring payment does get processed, you will be entitled to a refund if your account has been overpaid.

Lease Contracts
Scheduled recurring payments will no longer be debited from your bank account once your lease account is closed. If the lease vehicle is turned in near the maturity date, and if your next payment is in “Pending” status, that payment may be processed. However, if the payment is processed, you will be entitled to a refund if your account has been overpaid. To prevent this, you may set up your “Recurring Payments Profile” to stop at a specified end date, or after a certain number of Pay Online payments are made.
