Toyota Financial Services offers two different protection plans for your used vehicle, both designed to help protect you from the costs of unanticipated repairs. Each plan offers a variety of service coverage options.
Toyota Extra Care used vehicle protection plans are available through your Toyota dealer only at the time you purchase your used vehicle. Please see your dealer for pricing information.
Used Vehicle Protection Plan Summaries
Platinum Protection
Our highest level of extended service coverage for virtually every component group in your vehicle. If your vehicle component does not appear on our
List of Excluded Components
, it is covered by Used Vehicle Platinum. Coverage terms range from 1 year/12,000 miles to 5 years/60,000 miles. To qualify, your used vehicle must be a current model year or within the last 9 model years fewer than 125,000 total miles.
Gold Protection
Provides extended service coverage for most major components. Coverage terms range from 1 year/12,000 miles to 5 years/85,000 miles. To qualify, your used vehicle must be a current model year or within the last 9 model years with fewer than 125,000 total miles.
Powertrain Protection
Provides extended service coverage for engine, transmission, and axle-assembly components. Coverage terms range from 1 year/12,000 miles to 2 years/24,000 miles. To qualify, your used vehicle must be a current model year or within the last 12 model years with fewer than 100,000 total vehicle miles.
