How can I pay toward Principal Reduction?
Amounts in excess of the total amount due are applied to the unpaid principal and will be applied toward your next scheduled payment. Depending on the amount, your account may be considered paid ahead. Daily interest continues to accrue on your unpaid principal balance.
Follow these steps to make a principal-only payment:
Website: From the Make One-Time Payment page, select “Make A Principal Only Payment”. Your account must be current.
App: From the Dashboard or Make One-Time Payment page, select “Make A Principal Only Payment”. Your account must be current.
Mail: Include your account number and “Principal Only” on the memo line of the check and mail to:

Note: Principal-only payments will reduce your unpaid principal balance only and will not be applied toward past-due amounts or payments that are currently due or will become due in the future. You remain responsible for making timely payments as they become due. You can make a principal-only payment via any of our automated systems every 24 hours. Additional principal-only payments may be made with an agent.
