Be sure to bring all original equipment that came with your car that you may have taken out, including items like floor mats, headrests, all keys that came with the vehicle, the factory toolkit and spare tire (if applicable), the owner’s manual, or anything else that came with the car.

If you forget to bring any of the originally-equipped items, they will appear on your pre-inspection report. Notify your dealer that you’ve found them and be sure to return them to the vehicle prior to returning the vehicle itself. Failure to do so may result in charges after the final lease return inspection.
