Alexis’s Story

It was, she admitted to herself, finally time to make a decision. Alexis still loved the car she’d driven through high school and college. In a way it was like a dear old friend, part of the family. It was a 2000 Toyota Camry she’d inherited from her older brother, who had inherited it from their parents. The siblings had affectionately dubbed the car Ruby, because of its bright red exterior, and Ruby had never let either of them down.

But Alexis, who graduated a year ago, now had a real job, her own apartment and felt that the next step in her adulting master plan should definitely include a stylish new set of wheels that fit her budget and offered the kind of connectivity, safety and tech she craved. Oh, and it had to be red.

After doing her research, Alexis decided to lease a Toyota Crown through her local dealer and TFS. For her, the flexibility of leasing, the lower monthly payments and the ability to upgrade her vehicle every few years were a perfect fit. She also took advantage of the TFS College Grad Program, which meant she earned a $500 rebate for leasing her new Toyota and TFS even waived her security fee.

The 2023 Crown is elegant and bold, incredibly safe and technologically well-equipped. All 2023 Crown models have the Toyota Safety Sense™ 3.0 package, which includes Pre-Collision System With Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert With Steering Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, Automatic High Beams, and Proactive Driving Assist. All also come equipped with a Panoramic View Monitor, Blind Spot Monitor With Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Safe Exit Assist, as well as Front and Rear Parking Assist With Automatic Braking.

The tech-focused cabin was designed to be driver-centric and completely wireless. The Crown features Toyota’s innovative Human Machine Interface (HMI), an advanced system that uses the 12.3-in. touchscreen to heighten your interaction through sight, touch and voice activation. Phone running out of batter? Simply place your Qi-compatible device on the charging slot in the middle console and the battery will automatically begin to charge. Perfect for Alexis.

Protecting her investment was the next step. After talking with a friendly TFS Loyalty Advocate, she decided to customize her lease by adding Prepaid Maintenance, Tire & Wheel Protection, Guaranteed Auto Protection and Excess Wear & Use Protection

Keeping her car in tip-top condition is important to Alexis. She’s on a fairly tight budget and she’s not a fan of surprise bills, so adding Prepaid Maintenance was a no brainer. Coverage for eligible vehicles includes oil and filter changes, tire rotations, multi-point inspections and any additional services listed in the vehicle’s scheduled maintenance guide, under normal conditions. She added Tire & Wheel Protection so that road hazard damage from things like nails, broken glass, tree limbs or potholes wouldn’t slow her down.

At the end of her lease, Alexis knew she’d definitely want to focus her energy on choosing her next new Toyota instead of worrying about paying for little dents and dings when she turns in her Camry. It made sense to opt for Excess Use & Wear Protection. And she added Guaranteed Auto Protection so that in the event of her Camry being declared a total loss through theft or accidental damage, any gap in coverage left by her regular auto insurance policy would be covered.

With loads of options, flexibility and customized lease plans, TFS makes choosing and caring for your new Toyota vehicle easy, fun and convenient.
